Membership

An active membership of The Creswick and District Historical Society gives entry to the often spirited Meetings held every month, where views and opinions are bandied about; muted debate encouraged. Membership also includes a frequent emailed distribution of news, and items of concern and interest, along with an opportunity to participate in field excursions that explore and examine remnants of our unique heritage. 

While aware that the District is only part of Victoria’s “golden triangle”, The ‘Society is proud of Creswick’s role in the course of Australian History both before and after Federation. Some years ago, it was estimated that 10% of Australia’s population possessed a connection with Creswick, which infers that many people still have links with the District. If you are one of these, or have a natural interest in Australian History of that period, why not join The ‘Society'.
